The Wolfeboro Nursery School is a non-profit, cooperative preschool offering a developmentally appropriate education experience for all children ages 3 to 5. For 70 years, families, teachers and community members have worked together to enrich the lives of children in the town of Wolfeboro and its surrounding communities.

 

Our program allows ample opportunities for independent play-oriented explorations in imaginative free play, nature, science investigations and artistic activities. 

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, collaborative, creative individual to join our preschool teaching team part-time on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:45 am - 12 pm (with the possibility of an increase in hours if desired.) 

 

Applicants should share our philosophy and approach, enjoy working with preschool aged children, be self-motivated, organized and dedicated to being a part of our community of families. 

 

Applicants must meet one of the following

criteria:
 

• An Associates Degree in an Early Childhood

Education (preferred) or a related field -- or at least 9 credits in related course work. 
 

• 2+ years experience working in a preschool/early childhood learning setting.

 

Prior to starting applicants will also need to:
 

• Pass a background check

• Be fingerprinted

• Have CPR/First-Aid certifications

 

Compensation: $16 - $20 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Interviews will be held as resumes are received and until an appropriate candidate for the position is found.

We are also looking for Substitute Teachers to fill in for our teaching team when needed.
